Love is the Cure
Good Day Lilies! I hope you all have been well and following your calling faithfully! This past week was NYFW! Iam sure you all have noticed, thats all anyone can talk about wither its Alexander Wangs school girl look to Jeremys scott pop of color and keeping some of the jock look in style; fashion week was great. So much inspiration, learning and networking. I am so thankful for all the people I have met at the shows I dressed such as Band of Outsiders and Porsche Designs. It was so much fun and I learned a tremendous amount of information. So for this weeks outfit post and bible verse I was inspired by one of my professors. I attend Fashion Institute of Technology which is a school filled with a ton of personalities and competition. One of my professors before he dismisses us from class says leave in love. The first time he said that my heart melted! By him saying that it brought me to this verse!
1 Corinthians 16:14

14 Let all that you do be done in love.
I feel like this verse is something we all can forget to do. We get overwhelmed by big things sometimes small things. In general when we are going about our day we can forget to do things with love and instead we do them out of obligation. It says let all that you do which means anything that you do for anyone; be in love. It can be the person who rejects you or the person who is homeless, whoever the person is may you serve them in love just like the father has served you always. The fashion industry is highly competative others would say backstabbing and I see the need for love, I hope you do to! My prayer is that you can be the light in the darkness and pour out the love God has given you onto others. No matter what industry your in. Hope you are blessed and do everything in love. Love is the only thing that can fill up any void!

Life More Abundantly
Hello beauties! Hope you all are doing wonderful and being encouraged by my blog! I want this to be a site where you can be free to express yourself. This site is not only something you look at but a place where you can go to a support system! I'am so excited to show everyone some of the projects I'am putting together! Something you don't wanna miss out on ! When it comes to how I dress I like having different styles not only limiting myself to one type of look. I Dressed this outfit up with A floral Kimono and added a faux leather motorcycle jacket. I added a ton of rings because rings are always a necessity, they add such edge to any ensemble. Fashion is fun, its a great way to express your self as well as show your talent! This weeks verse is very important. Its the main reason why we should never feel like we aren't chosen people. We should never feel like we cant amount to anything it is all a lie! If your feeling that way today I hope you get encouraged by this verse. <3

Hello Lilies! What a week it has been. I started school Monday, the transition from having free time to being overwhelmed with work has definitely taken a toll on my body. The Lord is always faithful and he is helping me especially with my energy. FIT is the only college I know that gives three hour classes which can be a good thing and a bad thing. Since I'm a fashion business student, math classes and product development classes are mandatory. Product development is something I can see myself working in, dealing with the seasons trends and recreating them for your target market seems like a challenge but fun! Getting back to working and going to school has made me think about how I'm going to manage my time. Every second of the day is a blessing and its important to do everything in excellence. Since fashion week is in about a week I have been planning what shows and events to attend. MFC out reach, fashions night of prayer are just some of the wonderful things to do for fashion week. I'm looking forward to seeing what is going to be on the runway for this upcoming season! If anyone is free and would like to help out with Models for Christ Night of prayer I'm attaching the Flyer and we would love to see and meet with you to pray for the fashion industry. The fashion industry can seem cut throat but we want it to evolve to art that accepts how beautiful we really are, not a way to diminish our self esteem. Trusting that Only God can change people!
